Uniforms

Students are in uniform if they are wearing any combination of school colors; dark blue, khaki, and white
Students are not admitted to class without a uniform. Loaner uniforms are available in the office
The last Friday of each month is a free dress day


School supplies for 2009-2010

This is a general list of what students are expected to bring to class
Homework notebook or planner
Notebooks for each class or three-ring binder
Pens and pencils
Small pencil sharpener
Parents should check with classroom teachers to confirm what supplies are needed


Parents should know

Ask your child about their learning targets. They have one for each class.
What do you know about the 6th period enrichment program? Who is your child's
instructor?
Organization is the key to academic progress. Many academic problems are bases on the inability to organize time, work load, and
after school commitments.

Earn a free home computer

The Take Home Computer Program is available to Oakland Unified students and families, grades 6-12 only.
How does this work?
You and your parents/guardians MUST attend a 3 hour basic computer class.
Your computer will be ready for pick-up on "Computer Distribution Day".

After school program

Did you know there is Homework Assistance-Monday through Thursday from 3:45-4:45?
The purpose is to improve students math and English skills. Application forms are in the office.
